Excellent service.   Staff took time to explain everything and

asked if I had any concerns.   Nice to be reassured and

Just a few lines to express my thanks to you and your team.  

You carried out a uterine artery embolisation for the treatment

of fibroids in May.   The Care I received day and night was of

an excellent standard!   God bless you all and Thank You! (KM)

 

 

Just to say a big thank you to you all.   You were so friendly

and kind.   Ive been pain free since the nerve root block (KS)

 

 

I was sent by Solihull Hospital as they dont have anyone

who knows how to do this treatment, but I have to say I could

not have got the treatment I had from anyone.   The staff were

so good, they out me at ease straight away and talked me

through my treatment all the time.   I was never once left to

worry about what was going on and the staff

were courteous at all times and Id hope if ever I had to go and

have a similar treatment Id ask for the staff I had, they came

second to none in my estimation. God bless you all! (MG)

A visit to A&E on a very busy afternoon (88 patients in the A&E system and

a wait of up to 3 hrs). Excellent announcement by staff about the waiting

time and the procedure. And then, when seen by Nurse-Practitioner she

was excellent! Calm, thoughtful, concerned to make me comfortable quickly

as well as diagnose the issue and then suggest appropriate treatment. (The

radiologist was quick and efficient too). She was also human - and had impressive

energy for someone who had been on duty since 8am (it was late afternoon)

and was rushed off her feet. She is a splendid credit to the department and was an

excellent help to me. Please pass these comments on to her, with my thanks.

I had had an appointment, today, 1st August, for an Ultrasound

scan of my foot, main X-ray department, Solihull, at 5pm. In addition,

yesterday, it was confirmed that I could attend the gastroenterology

clinic today, in Outpatients, Solihull, at 11:30am. This was to replace

a later appointment, 15th August.  The pain had become quite severe

so I had requested an earlier date.

 

Many thanks to a secretary for her efforts in making this

earlier appointment possible.

 

After attending the gastroenterology clinic, I walked down to the

main X-ray dept. at 12 noon, to see if there was an opportunity of

an earlier appointment, due to cancellation, for an Ultrasound scan,

so that I would not have to kill time in the town/return to Castle

Bromwich and then come back  to Solihull Hosp for 5pm.

Everyone at reception/general staff in X-ray who could help sort

out an alternative time did their upmost to help.  Finally, I was asked

that if I did not mind waiting for 40 mins, a Dr could

accommodate me.  I was completely 'blown away' with such an effort

on the part of the staff and their willingness to lend flexibility to

achieving an outcome that made day so much easier.

A very big THANK YOU to all concerned!

 

Many things struck me about this, my first visit for some time,

as a patient, to your hospital:

- good strategies from Reception staff on achieving effective and prompt
'processing' of patients' for this the first leg of their visit
-
tangible courtesy from 'escort' staff while they collected and took
patients from Reception to their designated clinics, as far as was humanly

possible, my appointment times were met by clinicians
-
Cannot give enough praise and acknowledgement to what turned out
to be a very courteous, professional and patient-centred experience. (RN)

Many thanks for your two letters outlining my treatment & progress. I am feeling really well and suffered none of the side effects that were carefully explained to me.

To have my life extended in this way is nothing short of miraculous & it is with huge thanks to you, Dr Hussain, Paulette and the rest of the team that I write.
